I've know about Nanami Cowdroy's artwork for about a year now, and I forget how much I love it. I stumbled across it at www.gelaskins.com last year looking for something to dress up my mac book, and I loved her pieces the best. She's from Sydney, Australia, and embraces her Japanese-European heritage through he artwork. I love that it's black and white, and that it looks smudged, and most importantly wet. Everything is dripping with Ink, and it looks like you could destroy it with the wipe of a clumsy hand. I've always liked Coy fish in art, and she uses them often. Her work is now currently gracing my desktop, and I thought I put up some of my favorites:
