Purple and Taupe
The taupe actually ended up looking rather lilac-ish, and match my boyfriends shoes exactly. he dyed his shoes purple a while ago, and between biking around, spilling beer on them, and walking in the rain, the shoes faded. I don't know if that says anything about dye in general... but my point is that these taupe shoes are definitely not taupe.
